R-Type Final 2 is Granzella’s crowdfunded sequel to the fan-favorite R-Type Final, but previous knowledge of the series is not required. All you need to do is pilot one of the game’s numerous R-Types and blast as many enemy spacecraft as possible.

It’s the same fast-paced ship combat as the original, but with enhanced graphics for modern consoles, new R-Types, and a unique difficulty system. Enemies scale to your level, so the challenge is always matched to your skill level at any given point.

The R-Types are fully customizable as well, from weapon types to decals and colors.

For the competitive types, R-Type Final 2 also includes worldwide leaderboards with cross-platform functionality.
