What is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided?

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is an upcoming action-stealth game developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix. It is the sequel to the 2011 title Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The player takes on the role of Adam Jensen, a mechanically augmented soldier.

The game takes place in futuristic Prague, where Jensen is hunting down a terrorist group of augmented humans. The game allows for the player tackle situations using combat, hacking, stealth and social interactions.

Rebuilding the hype

After a controversial pre-order system, along with a six-month delay from February to August 23rd, hype for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided took a bit of a slump. There is no mistaking the release of the latest trailer is to rebuild the hype for the game. The trailer shows off the many features that the game is going to have — new augmentations, places players will be visiting, how players actions can affect the outcome of encounters, and more.

It would seem that the trailer has indeed done its job. Fans have taken to the comments on the trailer and Steam announcement page showing their excitement for the game. With everything, that is shown in the six minute and sixteen seconds video; you can’t blame them for getting excited.

The game looks smashing

Eidos Montreal has done a fantastic job with the latest trailer. It gives a wonderful insight into what the game has to offer and what players can expect to experience. The graphics are stunning, and the new augmentations look amazing.

That of course, is not including the awe-inspiring scenes and sights that the player gets to visit throughout the game. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is looking like it is going to deliver on all the promises that the developers have placed on the table. August 23rd really can not come soon enough.
