Monster Hunter Rise Patch 1.1.2 Fixes Save Data Corrupting Bug, Among Others

Capcom has released Patch 1.1.2 for Monster Hunter Rise fixing bugs that caused save data to be corrupted and player controls to stop working.

Capcom has just released Monster Hunter Rise patch 1.1.2 to fix multiple bugs players have been struggling with since the recent launch of the Nintendo Switch exclusive.

The most notable fixes are for a bug that was causing save data to become corrupted. Prior to the patch, if a player had quit the game while the Attack Pose Set and Hurt Pose Set were equipped to the action bar, some would find their save file corrupted the next time they tried to hunt monsters on the go.

The other notable fix is for a bug that would cause the controls to stop working after receiving a request to join a friend’s game. Players may have also faced the same issue when performing certain actions in the Lava Cavern area of the game. Both of these issues are thankfully resolved, so there’s nothing to stop your lust for a new outfit fashioned out of your latest kill.

For those who would like to take a look at the rest of the fixes, the full patch notes can be found here.

Monster Hunter Rise is the first exclusive Monster Hunter title on Switch and has been receiving critical and commercial acclaim since its launch on March 26, hitting over 5 million copies sold in just its first week on the market.

We gushed over it in our review, giving it a perfect score for “quality of life changes, fantastic sound design, beautiful visuals, minimal load times,” and “a large roster of monsters.” For more on Monster Hunter Rise, stay tuned to GameSkinny for helpful guides and tips like the best weapons in the game ranked in tiers
