Patch 6 Adds a New Incentive to Romance Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3

Patch 6 gives us a new ending option for romancing Lae'zel.

Lae’zel’s harsh attitude made her an unpopular romance option. But once you get to know her, you learn that Lae’zel is more complex than you might think. Now, Patch 6 adds a new incentive to romance Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3.

One path for Lae’zel at the end of the game is to lead a rebellion against Vlaakith. By this point, she’s aware of Vlaakith’s lies and how she’s betrayed the Githyanki. Although she isn’t alone in her rebellion, you couldn’t join her unless you were also a Githyanki and romanced her. But that’s changed with Patch 6.

If you romance Lae’zel and she decides to lead a rebellion against Vlaakith, then you can join her fight when playing as any race. I’d argue that we should be able to join her fight even without romancing her, especially if we prove we’re Githyanki allies by freeing Orpheus. However, joining her as a romance option, no matter which race you play, is a good start.

Other Changes in Patch 6 for Lae’zel

This isn’t the only change for Lae’zel in Patch 6, but it’s bigger than the others. However, she also has a new idle animation at camp now, where she examines a Githyanki disc. This is a welcome change because she would spend all her time at camp before this sharpening her blade in my game.

And that’s the new incentive added in Patch 6 to romance Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3. These large updates with new content show Larian Studios’ commitment to the game and its players, which has helped it earn multiple awards over the last few months.
