This One Fix Would Majorly Improve Palworld

Palworld has multiple bugs and glitches, but fixing this particular one would be a huge improvement.

Palworld is still in Early Access, and Pocketpair has big things planned in its roadmap. In these early stages, there’s definitely room for improvement, with various glitches rearing their heads, causing our Pals to behave oddly or Pal Spheres to disappear. But this one specific fix would majorly improve Palworld.

Palworld Must Implement This Fix for Better Pal Pathing

Of all the glitches and bugs discovered during Palworld’s Early Access period, poor collision physics gives me the most grief. With the way collision physics is implemented right now, I constantly have Pals getting stuck on rocks and structures.

One moment, my Base Info will say they’re in good condition, and then suddenly, their SAN will begin declining. This leads to poor conditions like starvation or random, unexplained injuries and incapacitation. A patch that smooths and improves the collision boxes would be a huge help.

Pals Get Stuck in Base Too Often

Pals getting stuck on objects affects work output, too. Aren’t we all playing Palworld to work these cute creatures to the bone? I kid, but if my Pal is stuck on a rock, then it’s not only deteriorating in condition, it’s also not doing the job I gave it. They at least need to complete tasks and take breaks at the Hot Spring without having to be reset when they inevitably crawl up a pillar, tree, structure, or worse, fall off a cliff.

This becomes extra frustrating when I’m away from base. Too often, I return to discover that tasks aren’t complete when they should be because collision physics snagged one or more Pals. The best way to fix Pals being stuck is by putting them into the Palbox and then summoning them again. That can get tedious, especially when you’re playing for a long session.

It doesn’t help that spotting a stuck Pal can be difficult, so I’d settle for even a “Stuck” status that alerts me when a Pal stays in the same spot for too long. That way, I can mitigate the amount of work that doesn’t get done because a Pal gets stuck.

And that’s one fix that would majorly improve Palworld. While Pocketpair continues to patch out exploits, I don’t expect collision physics to be fixed immediately. But adjusting them would be a welcome update. From here, check out our guides hub for topics like all Pals and elements listed or best tips for base building.
