Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Defeat Filro the Forgotten

Filro the Forgotten is one of many characters you’ll encounter if you decide to investigate the Underdark. While Filro is a squishy enemy, he has help from Hook Horrors that are pretty tough with 97 HP. So, what’s the easiest method for how to defeat Filro the Forgotten in Baldur’s Gate 3?

A rogue’s Sneak Attack can be shockingly strong, and it’s just the thing for this situation. Having a rogue sneak up on Filro the Forgotten alone and use Sneak Attack has the chance to kill him in one shot, making it so you don’t have to fight the Hook Horrors.

If your Tav isn’t a rogue, then Astarion can do the job here. Ungroup him from the party and use Hide. Then, move behind Filro and use Sneak Attack. I was able to defeat him in one shot. If he has just a little health left, you could also use Shove to try killing him with fall damage (which is always fun).

If you aren’t able to kill him right away, you can lure the Hook Horrors to Bulette and let those groups attack each other, letting you focus on Filro and making this into an easy fight because he doesn’t have a lot of health or defense.
