The gig “Happy Together” can be picked up from Watson at the beginning of Act 2 of Cyberpunk 2077. Like many quests, it has more than one ending, meaning that the choices you make have an impact on the outcome. To help out, here’s our guide for how to get both endings for Happy Together in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Get Both Endings for Happy Together in Cyberpunk 2077
There’s a good and bad ending for Happy Together. The good endings keeps Barry alive, but in the bad ending, he’ll commit suicide.
Starting the Quest and the Bad Ending
To start the quest, go to the floor below your apartment at the start of Act 2. A pair of officers are knocking on Barry’s door. Once they leave, knock on Barry’s door until he answers and start talking with him. For the bad ending, you can use the yellow dialogue and rush through. Then, speak with the cops. Rushing through and not listening to Barry ends with him committing suicide because the only one he felt he could talk to — Andrew — is gone.
Saving Barry with the Good Ending
The good ending requires more work, but you can save a life in the process. Start the mission in the same way, but when you’re talking to Barry, go through all the dialogue he has. Don’t pick the yellow ones until they’re your final option. This gives you the task of finding Andrew’s niche at the Columbarium on Night City’s east side. It’s a bit back on the right side of the entrance. Read it and find that Andrew is actually a tortoise.
Now go talk to the pair of cops and tell them the truth about Andrew. If you don’t, you’ll get the bad ending. The cops will go speak with Barry again, and you not only save a life, but you get some money as a reward.
That covers how to get both endings for Happy Together in Cyberpunk 2077. It shows that sometimes going through quests slowly is your best option. But afterwards, head to our Cyberpunk guide hub for more topics like how to get the Last Call reward or how to start the Phantom Liberty expansion.
