Cyberpunk 2077: How to Complete Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy

Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy is one of the smaller but more fun gigs in Cyberpunk 2077. Here's how to complete it.

Gigs have always been one of the best ways to make money and level up in Cyberpunk 2077. The goal of one early mission is straightforward, but the execution isn’t. Here’s how to complete Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy in Cyberpunk 2077.

How to Complete the Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy Gig in Cyberpunk 2077

You’ll start the Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy gig in eastern Watson at the Raito Hotel. Your job is to find a way up to the penthouses, sneak into a suite, and steal some data for the client.

You don’t have to go in quiet, but if you want your bonus rewards, don’t raise the alarm once. Before starting, I recommend having 15 Technical Ability. It makes getting into the elevators undetected and getting into the suite later on much easier.

There are two passkeys available once you enter the lobby. The first is on the front desk. However, picking it up without sneaking or using a Sandevistan will automatically cause everyone in the room to become hostile. You’ll fail the “don’t sound the alarm” objective if so. If you go through the door around the corner from the front desk, which at character Level 25 required I have 11 Technical Ability to unlock, there’s a free passkey.

Once you have the key, head to the elevators and take them to the 21st floor. If you haven’t already, put a silencer on your best weapon. It’s a good failsafe if you have to quietly take out one or both of the enemies in the suite with the quest item.

There are several ways into the penthouse suite when you exit the elevator. You can go onto the balcony and double jump to the upper level. Without a double jump, V just can’t quite reach.

You can go up the nearby stairs and use an even higher Technical Ability (14 in my case) to hack open another door to the suite. You can also go onto the roof, jump over the fence, and onto the suite’s balcony. The jump is a bit tricky, so save before you try it in case you miss.

If you choose either of the upper floor entrances, you’ll arrive above the two enemies. The data shard you’re looking for is on a table. It’s in front of the large TV at the back of the room.

Coming in on the first floor gives you less of an overview of the room and fewer places to hide quickly, but you have a better line on both enemies. No matter how you enter, you’ll eventually have to approach the shard to nab it. Listen to the man in the vest until he says he’s going for a smoke. Then, make sure the woman is looking the other way. Jump down or quickly approach and grab the shard.

In my playthrough, the man was coming back in just as I was grabbing the objective, and I had to shoot him. Thankfully, he doesn’t have much health. Once you have the shard, beeline it for the exit. Use one of the nearby devices to distract the boss enemy if necessary, then take the elevator back down and leave the hotel.

If you complete Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy in Cyberpunk 2077 without raising the alarm, head to a nearby drop box for your additional reward: a higher Eurodollar bundle and two weapons.
