FFXIV Moonfire Faire 2023: How to Get Phoenix Riser Outfit and Helm

The FFXIV Moonfire Faire Summer Event has returned, and as usual, there’s a reward for completing it. This year, the outfit isn’t another bathing suit (oof, 2022). Instead, you can pretend that you’re a Power Ranger in addition to being the Warrior of Light. Here’s how to get the Phoenix Riser Suit and Helm.

How to Get the Phoenix Riser Outfit From FFXIV Moonfire Faire 2023

To get the Phoenix Riser outfit and Helm in FFXIV during Moonfire Faire 2023, complete the quest called Allergic to Sunshine, then speak with Haermaga.

• The Moonfire Faire Summer Event lasts from August 10 to August 26.
• The event begins in Limsa Lominsa.
• You must be Level 30 to participate.

Where to Get the Phoenix Riser Outfit and Helm Detailed

First, you must pick up the quest “Allergic to Sunshine” in Limsa Lominsa from Mayaru Moyaru. They’re on the Upper Decks (X:11.4, Y:13.8).

Now, you’ll head to Costa Del Sol to meet Haermaga on the beach (X:36.1, Y:26.7).

This leads to a quest chain that you’ll complete entirely in Costa Del Sol. You’ll run back and forth from this small island to the shore, but you don’t have to do much other than select dialogue options and watch cutscenes. However, there’s technically a duty that has you act as a supervisor while directing an NPC, and this section takes a chunk of time.

Once you complete this chain, you’ll speak with Haermaga again to finish the quest and earn your Phoenix Riser outfit and Helm.

From here, you can purchase fireworks from the Moonfire Faire Vendor located to the right of Haermaga. Or you can try your hand at the Nimble Warrior course, which is a combination of the Leap of Faith and Cliffhanger GATEs from the Gold Saucer. Although the course is the same as last year’s Moonfire Faire event, so you might not be inclined to go through it this time, as well.
