Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis: How to Play on PC

If you've been wondering how to play FF7 Ever Crisis on PC, here's your answer.

Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis offers a fresh way to experience the FF7 story. While that should be enticing for newcomers and old fans alike, something that not everyone is sold on is that it’s a mobile game. Even if we all have phones, many would rather enjoy the game on other platforms such as their computers. This is what you need to know about how to play FF7: Ever Crisis on PC.

How to Play Ever Crisis on PC

As of right now, there’s no official support for playing the game on PC. It’s strictly available to play on mobile devices and there hasn’t been mention of work being done for any other platform.

Having said that, you might still see some people streaming and playing it on their computers. This is achieved by playing it through an emulator. While emulation itself isn’t illegal, some of the features that come with an emulator and the methods that people use them for do fall into that category. On that basis alone, we can’t advise playing Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis in that way. Anyone who does is doing so at their own risk.

Although it’s possible to properly sign into all relevant accounts and play without any suspicious downloads, it can still be pretty murky if that’s okay. It certainly isn’t intended to experience the game through these other programs. Once again, we don’t recommend it and anyone who pursues it is at their own risk.

As we mentioned above, there has been no news of a PC version being in development. It’s not super common to see mobile games have ports aside from huge titles like Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail. Square Enix has also had quite a few Final Fantasy mobile games that have stayed on their respective platforms.

One way we might potentially see it playable elsewhere could be through the Google Play Games for PC Beta. This app does use emulation, but it’s officially supported and created by Google. They have hundreds of games to choose from, and that includes plenty of bigger mobile games. Perhaps even more importantly, they also have Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions. While that doesn’t guarantee this FF game will become supported there, it might be more likely than an official PC port.

That covers everything we know about how to play Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis on PC. We’ll be sure to update this if Square Enix ever announces additional platforms. In the meantime, feel free to check out our guide on how to reroll if you’re still early on in the game. You can also look forward to even more FF7: Ever Crisis guides coming your way.
