How to Find and Beat Simondo Belmont in Vampire Survivors

"Simon Says" reference in Vampire Survivors? No way.

Simondo Belmont seems the be the “Waldo” in the Vampire Survivors community these days, as many players cannot seem to find the fabled Bestiary entry 228. After numerous tests, I’ve figured out how to reliably force Simondo Belmont to spawn in the Operation Guns DLC.

Where to Find Bestiary 228 in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC

Simondo Belmont spawns around 20:00 at the Neo Galuga stage (or in the appropriate adventure mode stage with the city setting). Apparently, the only condition is to be within the city at that time, or else it won’t spawn. Simondo Belmont is currently the last Bestiary entry in Vampire Survivors, number 228. Here’s what it looks like on my end.

As far as I am concerned, I was just under the location where you are supposed to fight Big Fuzz, the final boss of Operation Guns DLC.

How to Defeat Simondo Belmont in Operation Guns DLC in Vampire Survivors

Simondo Belmont has a fun flavor text both as your nemesis and as a character you can unlock. Due to his extraordinary defensive abilities, it might take you a while to defeat him. Try to make it happen before 25:00 because that’s when Taka appears.

Simondo Belmont has resistances against Freeze, Rosary, Debuffs, and Knockback, which means that it will mindlessly rush at you until one of you falters in this almost-perpetual fight. His HP is equal to your level multiplied by 400, so we’re looking at a long fight. So, while being forced to increase your damage output by this point in your run, you need to make sure that your character is fast enough to outrun Simondo as well.

I’d show you a picture of Simondo as an enemy, but my main character is “egged up” and my screen is an incoherent light show by that time. Veteran Vampire Survivors players will understand.

How to Defeat Simondo Belmont in Adventure Mode in Operation Guns DLC

You will find the infamous Simondo Belmont in Chapter 3 of the Operation Guns DLC Adventure Mode. It took me a while to find it, but it’s actually more or less the same as in the regular game mode. The difference in the Adventure Mode is that you will see Simondo Belmont at around 16:00. The easiest way to find him is to be in the arena where the Big Fuzz will spawn (top-right corner of the Neo Galuga city). Simply follow the “!” symbol on the map and the orange/red arrow with a countdown once it appears.

All in all, Simondo Belmont is a nice touch to the Operation Guns DLC. If you are looking for more guides, feel free to check out our Vampire Survivors Game Hub.
