How to Fix MW3 Warzone Menu Loop Bug

Here are some potential quick fixes for the infinite loading menu bug in MW3 Warzone.

It’s no secret that Warzone in CoD: Modern Warfare 3 has experienced issues since the game’s release. That’s expected, but there have been multiple issues since the Season 1 Reloaded update. Here, I’ll show you how to fix the menu loop bug in MW3 Warzone.

Possible Fixes for the MW3 Warzone Infinite Menu Loop Bug

1. Update Modern Warfare 3

Though the big Season 1 Reloaded update just dropped on January 17, developer Raven Software has already released a fresh patch. It may finally fix the menu loop bug, so be sure to update your game. This also seems to have fixed, at least for now, the fetching profile error and the loadout glitch. Here’s the message from the official X/Twitter:

2. Invite a Friend to Your Party

If updating your game doesn’t work, then there are a few other potential solutions to try, including a simple one: inviting a friend to your party. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Invite a friend to your party via the main menu.
  2. Once you select Warzone mode, it starts looping.
  3. At this point, close the game.
  4. Ask your friend via chat to load into the main menu.
  5. Restart your game and join your friend.

3. Don’t Switch Between Duos and Quads

Some players have also reported that even after the menu loop bug was fixed, the menu loop bug returned every time they tried to switch between the Duos or Quad modes in Warzone. If you could finally enter Warzone after the patch or by inviting a friend, stick to your original mode and don’t change it. Hopefully, Raven Software will release another new patch in the near future that also fixes this bug.

That’s everything I can tell you about fixing the menu loop bug in MW3 Warzone for now. Though I’ve not run into this issue myself (thankfully), I’ll keep an eye out for other potential solutions and update this guide if there are more fixes.
