How to Get and Use Carbon Fiber in Palworld

Carbon Fiber is needed to craft Technologies and weapons in Palworld, so here's how to get and use it!

To make the most advanced Technologies and weapons, you need Carbon Fiber. Two Pals drop it when defeated, but it’s much easier to craft than hunt them down. Here, I’ll tell you how to get and use Carbon Fiber in Palworld.

How to Craft Carbon Fiber in Palworld

Carbon Fiber is used to craft high-level Spheres, like the Ultra Sphere, and weapons, such as the Rocket Launcher. If you don’t want to craft it, Jetragon and Shadowbeak can drop it, but I’ve found farming those Pals takes much longer than crafting it myself.

First, reach Technology Level 35, then purchase the Carbon Fiber recipe for 2 Technology Points. Then, unlock the Production Assembly Line at Technology Level 28. Then, build it with x50 Wood, x100 Ingots, x20 Nails, and x10 Cement. Finally, build a Power Generator to power the Assembly Line using x20 Electric Organs and x50 Ingots.

After you have both set up, craft Carbon Fiber in two ways: with Coal or Charcoal. For Coal, you need x2 Coal for x1 Carbon Fiber. For Charcoal, you need x5 Charcoal for x1 Carbon Fiber. I find it easier to get Charcoal in bulk since we make it with Wood in a Primitive Furnace. If you have a Lumber Site and a Lumbering Pal working, you can craft a ton of Charcoal quickly.

How to Use Carbon Fiber

With a steady supply of Carbon Fiber, you can use it to make the following Technologies:

  • Electric Furnace
  • Electric Medicine Workbench
  • Giant Feed Bag
  • Giga Glider
  • Huge Feed Bag
  • Legendary Sphere
  • Ultra Sphere

Carbon Fiber is also used to make the following weapons:

  • Assault Rifle
  • Homing Sphere Launcher
  • Hyper Grappling Gun
  • Pump-action Shotgun
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Scatter Sphere Launcher

That covers how to get and use Carbon Fiber in Palworld, but it’s far from the only material you need to make high-level Technologies. So for more information and resources, head to our guides hub for topics like how to make and use Polymer or how to get and use the Pal Essence Condenser.
