How to Get and Use the Pal Essence Condenser in Palworld

Empower your Pals with the Pal Essence Condenser in Palworld!

While you get points to use towards your Stats every time you level up, your Pals don’t. However, that doesn’t mean there’s no way to improve your Pals’ Stats. To do this, you need to know how to get and use the Pal Essence Condenser in Palworld.

How to Unlock the Pal Essence Condenser to Merge Pals

Unlike most items that you purchase in the Technology Tab, the Pal Essence Condenser requires Ancient Technology Points to unlock. It becomes available at Level 14 and costs one point. To build it, you need x20 Paldium Fragments, x20 Ingots, and x5 Ancient Civilization Parts.

If you’re running low on Ancient Civilization Parts or Ancient Technology Points, you can farm them from Tower bosses, such as Zoe and Grizzbolt or Lily and Lyleen.

How to Use the Pal Essence Condenser

Once you have the condenser built, choose the Pal you want to improve and catch five copies of it. The first Pal you select will level up, and the remaining four will be sacrificed to strengthen that Pal. This means that those four Pals will disappear in the process, and you can’t get them back unless you capture more. Here, I used Cremis for the image below. The Pal with the blue checkmark is being empowered, and the orange checkmarks are Pals that I’m condensing.

You can empower the same Pal up to four times, but each one requires more Pals to be sacrificed. Here’s how many Pals each rank needs:

  • Rank 1: 4 Pals
  • Rank 2: 16 Pals
  • Rank 3: 32 Pals
  • Rank 4: 64 Pals

So, to completely empower a Pal, you’ll need to sacrifice a total of 116 Pals of the same type.

And that covers how to get and use the Pal Essence Condenser in Palworld. While it’s great for making Pals stronger, capturing so many Pals to sacrifice for it can be tedious. From here, check out our guides hub for more content like how to get and use Cement or all tower locations.
