How to Make and Use Polymer in Palworld

Polymer is required for a lot of technologies and weapons, so here's how to get and use it in Palworld.

You need a lot of Polymer to craft the game’s best guns. Luckily, it’s not too tough to get your hands on the items required to craft it. In fact, your biggest obstacle is your level. I’ll tell you how to make and use Polymer in Palworld.

Polymer comes from two sources: crafting and Jetragon drops. To craft it, you must reach Level 33 and unlock the crafting recipe with Technology Points. You must also have a Production Assembly Line, which you unlock at Technology Level 28. The Assembly Line requires x50 Wood, x100 Ingots, x20 Nails, and x10 Cement. You’ll also need a Power Generator to fuel it, which requires x20 Electric Organs and x50 Ingots.

With that, you need a supply of High Quality Pal Oil. x1 Polymer requires x2 High-Quality Pal Oils to create. Pal Oil drops from several Pals, but I usually farm it from Woolipops. They tend to be around Level 15, so they’re easy to kill. They drop Cotton Candy, as well, which is non-perishable and restores a small amount of Sanity when Pals consume it. I like to have it stockpiled, and I suggest farming these two items together.

However, there are other Pals to farm. These are all of the Pals that drop HQ Pal Oil:

  • Digitoise
  • Dumud
  • Elpidran
  • Flambelle
  • Grintale
  • Mamorest
  • Quivern
  • Relaxaurus
  • Woolipop

How to Use Polymer: What Recipes Use Polymer in Palworld?

Polymer is required to build the following pieces of Technology:

  • Circuit Board
  • Electric Furnace
  • Emergency Exit Sign Set
  • Grizzbolt’s Minigun
  • Refrigerator
  • Relaxaurus Lux’s Missile Launcher
  • Relaxaurus’ Missile Launcher
  • Traffic Control Set

Although, I use Polymer to help craft weapons. Here’s a list of all weapons requiring Polymer to craft:

  • Assault Rifle
  • Decal Gun Set
  • Double-barrelled Shotgun
  • Homing Sphere Launcher
  • Hyper Grappling Gun
  • Pump-action Shotgun
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Scatter Sphere Launcher
  • Single-shot Rifle

And that covers how to get Polymer in Palworld and its uses. I found the hardest part is crafting enough Ingots to build the required technologies, but our Ore mining guide can help you there.
