Get lots of money with Precious Pelts

The Precious Pelt is a rare item in Palworld that you may have come across. Its uses may not be apparent initially, but you’ll want to get them when you can. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get and use Precious Pelt in Palworld.

Palworld: How to Get Precious Pelt

You can only get Precious Pelts by capturing or defeating Field Boss Pals. These boss Pals are much stronger than regular Pals and have much more health. They’ll be marked on the map when you come across them. When you fight them, they’ll also have a large health bar with their name at the top of the screen.

The best place to farm Precious Pelt is by fighting Chillet in the Central region. Since it’s one of the first Field Bosses you’ll face, it’s only level 11. Chillet is an Ice-type so I recommend bringing a few Fire-types like Foxparks.

Once you reach level 6, you can unlock the Foxparks’s Harness. This allows you to use Foxparks as a flamethrower that’s super effective on Chillet. Once you reach higher levels, you’ll take it out in no time. It’ll respawn daily, so you’ll never have to wait long.

How to Use Precious Pelt

If you’ve had some Precious Pelts for a while, you might think it’ll be used for a high-level crafting recipe. However, after I reached level 35, I realized that Precious Pelts can only be sold to merchants for a high price.

Farming Precious Pelts is one of the best ways to make money in the game. Each pelt will get you 500 Gold. Each time you defeat Chillet, it’ll drop multiple Precious Pelts.
