Localization Confusion is available for 18 medals, and if you’re not going for the Las-16 Sickle, I’d say this booster is worth getting as one of your first Page 1 unlocks. Its effect is simple, yet there are a few nuances I wanted to explain.
How to Use Localization Confusion Booster in Helldivers 2
As soon as you unlock the Localization Confusion booster in Helldivers 2 for 18 medals, you can equip it in your loadout as your chosen Booster. It increases the time between enemy encounters, which sounds simple enough, but what does this actually mean? Essentially, the Localization Confusion booster slows down the arrival of Automaton Dropships and Bug Breaches during a mission by increasing the cooldown of reinforcements.
If you’re moving from objective to objective, you’ll see fewer waves of bugs and automatons since their reinforcements will arrive slower. I highly recommend it for higher difficulties when you’re trying to speed-run a mission. You’ll fight noticeably fewer waves, which does wonders for your ammo and grenade management. It’ll also make difficult missions slightly easier.
