Wrestling with weight limits is the most annoying part of the game, but you don’t have to stress about it when it comes to moving items from one chest to another. Here’s how to move items between chests without becoming encumbered in Palworld on PC.

How to Move Items Between Chests Without Becoming Overencumbered in Palworld

Normally, moving items between crates is an arduous and tedious process in Palworld. I’ve become over encumbered managing my stacks plenty of times. But finally, there’s a better way.

I’m not sure how to do this trick with a controller, but this is a very handy tip for Palworld players on PC using a keyboard and mouse. This Palworld chest hack lets you move a stack of items from one chest to another without taking on the weight of the stack. You can move hundreds or thousands of Wood units — or units of any other item — easily, without getting encumbered.

This is a bit of a weird trick to show in images, so let’s go over how to do the chest trick in Palworld step by step:

  1. Open the chest with the item you want to move.
  2. Press and hold the Tab key.
  3. Click and hold on the stack you want to move while holding Tab, and drag it out of the box.
  4. You can let go of Tab from here, and open the chest you want to move the stack to.
  5. Drag and drop the stack into the chest.

This simple method of stacking multiple item units can save a ton of time on building — or keep you from going mad just trying to organize resources. But that’s how to move items between chests easily in Palworld. Check out more of our guides on the game here on GameSkinny, such as how to turn off hunger and how to get Carbon Fiber.
