How to Sell Wood in Farming Simulator 22

Here's how to sell wood in Farming Simulator 22 in just a few steps.

So you’ve got your logs all loaded up but you’re wondering why there isn’t an option to sell Wood in the Prices menu like for crops or vegetables. The game doesn’t explain this process very well but we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to sell wood in Farming Simulator 22.

Once you’ve gathered your logs, if you want to sell Wood in Farming Simulator 22 you have to manually drive to the Sawmill. Unlike crops, fruits, vegetables, and other goods, Wood doesn’t appear in the Prices menu. Before we go and sell our logs I’d recommend checking the following:

  • Make sure you have a timber runner to store your logs, which you can get by going to Menu > Tools > Forestry Equipment > Fliegl’s Timber Runner.
  • To move the logs, we need either a truck from the Vehicles menu, then Trucks or a tractor with a dolly attachment by going to Tools then Dollies.
  • I can’t stress enough how important it is to hit the “Fasten Tension Belts” button to secure your logs (right analog on PS5). If you don’t do this before driving off, your logs will fall out of your timber runner and you’ll have a sad day.

Once you’ve secured your logs, open the map and find the nearest Sawmill. Orient yourself and head over there slowly. If you have the resources, I prefer trucks when selling Wood since they make the process faster but a tractor does the job either way.

Once you reach the Sawmill, park your tractor or truck in the square-marked zone with an exclamation mark. You would usually get a “Sell” prompt now with crops, but for Wood, it’s different. To sell Wood in Farming Simulator 22:

  • Get out of your truck or tractor.
  • Walk up to the exclamation mark and orient your camera to look at it.
  • You’ll get a prompt to “Sell wood” (left analog on PS5).
  • Once you hit the button all your Wood will automatically be sold.

Usually, the longer the logs the more money you get. And that’s it. You can now go back for another round but this is the basic process. If you’re looking to score a lot of money decently quickly, selling Wood is a good way to do so. I would just recommend looking for an area with logs near the Sawmill to expedite the driving process as much as you can.
