Is No Man’s Sky Cross-Platform? Answered

Yes, No Man’s Sky supports cross-platform multiplayer, so you can play with your friends regardless of which platform they use. No Man’s Sky has come a long way since its launch, and you can explore the universe, build a base, and study the planets you visit. However, this isn’t a journey that you have to undertake alone, and you can bring your friends across galaxies with you.

To play cross-platform multiplayer, you’ll need to have your friend’s No Man’s Sky Friend Code, or give your code to your friend in order to be able to join each other’s game. You’re able to add a friend to your No Man’s Sky Friends List before starting a game, or you can add a friend after you’ve already started a game that you want to invite a friend to join.

Cross-platform capability is in demand for games that are multiplayer and released across multiple platforms, and No Man’s Sky is one of the few games that implements it.
