Flexwood is a dry timber that drops by cutting down cacti plants. I was able to find plenty of cacti in the Dry Valley biome, but I had to use an upgraded Uncommon Forest Axe to cut down these sturdy plants. Here’s the crafting recipe for the Uncommon Forest Axe:

  • 3 Bones
  • 3 Wooden Rods

Note that you’ll need to upgrade your Crafting Bench to Tier 2 (Uncommon) if you want to craft this rare axe. You can do this in the Bench Upgrade menu, using 8 Planks and 3 Shells.

Once you’ve gathered enough Flexwood from the cacti plants, you can turn it into Flexwood Rods at the Crafting Bench. But you can also use raw Flexwood to craft the Essence Table workstation using this recipe:

  • 20 Flexwood
  • 6 Cut Amber

Once you have an abundance of Flexwood, you can start crafting the Loom workstation with this recipe:

  • 19 Flexwood
  • 8 Flexwood Rods
  • 6 Sand Claws

Finally, you can craft probably the most important piece of equipment in the game, which is the Glider, using the following recipe:

  • 8 Flexwood Rods
  • 4 Wool Fabric
  • 6 Silk Fabric

But of course, there are also various wooden bows and crossbows that also require Flexwood and Flexwood Rods, such as the Recurve Crossbow, recipes for which you can easily find in your Crafting Bench menu.

That’s all you need to know on how to get and use Flexwood in LEGO Fortnite. Stay tuned for more LF tips and tricks articles, including how to find rollers to get shells and how to get more hearts to increase health.
