How to Get the Dendroid Armor Set in Remnant 2

To get the Dendroid Armor Set in Remnant 2, you’ll need to look for the hidden path to the walled-off section in Root Earth: Ashen Wasteland. To be clear, Root Earth is the game’s final area. As such, it’s going to take several hours before you reach it.

My advice is to check out our campaign progression guide so you know the best ways to start and advance further in the story. Once you’ve defeated the final boss in each biome, you’ll be able to head to Root Earth.

Dendroid Armor Set Location

Upon arriving in Root Earth: Ashen Wasteland, go to the first open area (i.e., the one with a lot of ruined vehicles) and defeat all the enemy mobs. One building leads to a checkpoint and the rest of the level. But, for the armor itself, I advise you to look at the other side of the yard to spot an opening with a faint red glow. You can crouch under it to enter the building.

Once inside, take out the enemies and head to the top by jumping across the stone platforms. To your left, you’ll see a glowing item. That’s the Reaping Stone, which has effects related to elemental status incurred. Your goal is to jump to the right, on the stone ledge that leads back outside. It can take a few tries, but that’s fine. I took around three tries until I got it right since my character kept rolling off the ledge.

In any case, if you look to your left, you’ll see the back of the walled-off section. There, you can pick up the Steel Katana. Likewise, if you interact with the Root-corrupted fella, you can acquire the Dendroid Armor Set.

Dendroid Armor Set and Steel Katana Stats

The Dendroid Armor Set has the following stats (if all pieces are worn):

  • Armor: 47
  • Weight: 25 (light) – Fast dodge and no stamina cost penalty.
  • Resistances: 10 bleeding, 10 poison, and 5 corrosion.

The Steel Katana, meanwhile, has the following stats:

  • Damage: 56
  • Crit chance: 10%
  • Weak spot modifier: 105%
  • Stagger modifier: -10%

That’s it: that’s everything you need to know about the Dendroid Armor Set in Remnant 2. Don’t forget that Root Earth has other items for you to discover, such as the Hellfire Flamethrower. For more tips and strategies, you can visit our Remnant 2 guides hub.
