Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life — How to Marry Lumina

Learn how to marry Lumina, the newest romance option in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

Considering that she wasn’t a character in the original 2004 game, you may be wondering how to marry Lumina in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Just one of four bachelorettes to court in the Forgotten Valley, her inclusion in the remake is a welcome one. As with other romance options in the game, you can date her and eventually propose to her regardless of your gender.

How to Marry Lumina in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

Before you can marry Lumina in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, you’ll need to romance her first. And as is the case with any courtship, there are some things you’ll need to know about your potential paramour first.

  • Lumina is very formal.
  • She hasn’t had many opportunities to interact with her peers.
  • She’s a very proper lady with a formal way of speaking, but you can see her shy side when you meet her in the Forgotten Valley, and it seems that she has a crush on your character from the start of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

All of Lumina’s Likes in SoS: AWL

Since Lumina’s Likes are simple, raising her affection level isn’t too difficult. The easiest items to get from her Likes list include:

  • Eggs
  • Strawberries
  • Flowers

You can give characters more than one gift each day as long as they’re different items, so I’d suggest giving her at least two gifts per day. To marry Lumina, I relied on Eggs and Flowers since both are easy to get.

Lumina’s Complete Schedule

Lumina’s schedule isn’t as open as Matthew’s — and certainly not Gustafa’s — but it includes playing piano. During this time, between 930 a.m. and 12 p.m., she won’t accept your gifts. Otherwise, you’ll usually find her in or near the villa. With that in mind, I often visited her during the afternoon.

  • 7:30AM – 9:30AM: In her room
  • 9:30AM – 12PM: Playing piano
  • 12PM – 1PM: In her room
  • 1PM – 4:30PM: Traveling from the garden to the Twins’ Yard
  • 4:30PM – 7PM: Returning to the villa
  • 7PM – 8PM: Romana’s bedroom
  • 8PM – 9PM: Her bedroom

How to Find Lumina’s Diary

To marry Lumina, you’ll need to track her affection towards you through her diary, which you can find in her room on the table in front of the three windows. There’s a lamp, picture frame, and stuffed bunny on the table.

Lumina’s Heart Events Detailed

Lumina’s Heart Events are based on her affection toward you, not yours toward her. To marry Lumina, you’ll want to keep up-to-date on how she feels about you so you can trigger all four events, which you must do before you can propose to her.

I won’t spoil the heart events below, but you can propose to Lumina with the Blue Feather after witnessing all four. If you want to marry Lumina and don’t see these events, make sure the affection bar in her journal is filled more than halfway. Do so by the time you’re forced to make a decision in Year Two.
