WoW Dragonflight: How to Open Dreamer’s Bounty

In WoW Dragonflight, the method for how to open Dreamer's Bounty requires the help of enemies.

Several new treasures in Zaralek Cavern require puzzle solving, and how to open Dreamer’s Bounty in WoW: Dragonflight is among them. At first glance, the Dreamer’s Bounty treasure chest can’t be interacted with, and it can leave you wondering what to do next. Don’t worry, you can open the Dreamer’s Bounty. Here’s how to do it.

How to Open Dreamer’s Bounty

South of Loamm, you’ll find a treasure chest hidden in one of the large plants in the area around (X:58, Y:66).

Since it’s called Dreamer’s Bounty, I first tried using /sleep to unlock it, but of course, it wasn’t that easy. The key to opening this chest is actually the Preying Dustmoths that you can find in the surrounding area.

These are aggressive enemies, and you need to stand and let it attack you until it inflicts a debuff called Drowsy Dust. This debuff lasts 15 seconds, and you need to be out of combat in order to open Dreamer’s Bounty with it.

Since the debuff has a time limit, you should lower the Dustmoth’s health before waiting for it to use Drowsy Dust. This way you can kill it quickly once you have the debuff and head to Dreamer’s Bounty, opening it before it wears off.

You might have to go through multiple Preying Dustmoths before you get the debuff on you, especially if you play a class that uses damage over time spells since you could kill the moth before it puts Drowsy Dust on you.

I had a few moths die before getting Drowsy Dust, but it still didn’t take a long time overall for me to open Dreamer’s Bounty. Our WoW: Dragonflight guides can help you get more Zaralek Cavern treasures like Fealty’s Reward and the Ancient Zaqali Chest.
