One of many new treasures added in Zaralek Cavern, figuring out how to find and open the Fealty’s Reward treasure can be a source of frustration in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. However, opening this treasure chest is deceptively simple.
WoW: Dragonflight – How to Find (and Open) Fealty’s Reward Treasure
The chest itself for Fealty’s Reward is located above the raid entrance in Aberrus, Zaralek Cavern. You’ll find it high up on a little platform around (X:48, Y:11). Opening it is a little trickier.
After you’ve seen the chest, which you cannot interact with at this point, your next step is finding a dragon statue, which is located at Brimstone Garrison in Zaralek Cavern, around (X:44, Y:23).
This puts it in the lava-filled section of Zaralek Cavern, which is far from my favorite location. However, I’m a sucker for treasure hunting. At least, Fealty’s Reward’s location isn’t all that bad for those of us who dislike the lava zones.
This section was really frustrating for me. You need to /kneel before the dragon statue to unlock the chest, but I was having issues getting access to the chest even after kneeling. I went between the statue and chest several times, and it turns out that you need to be close to the statue’s base when you kneel. I also found that the statue will shoot fire from its mouth for a moment when the chest is unlocked.
Once you see these flames, head back to Fealty’s Reward on its little platform and open it to receive your treasures.
