Dying Light has been teasing trailers for months on a variety of different topics, from the unique parkour mechanics to interesting characters. The game tries to take a fresh take on an old trope (the zombie genre) by infusing it with the speed of a game like Mirrors Edge.
This newest trailer touches on the story of the game, involving the main character getting into a conflict with some rough and tumble characters as well as some women who look a bit like hackers. There’s nothing concrete in the trailer, but it’s an interesting look into the world of Dying Light.
Additionally, “I’m not a leader, I’m a parkour instructor” might be my new favorite line in a game trailer.
Dying Light is set for release January 27 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in North America, January 28th for Australia and New Zealand and January 30th for Europe and Asia.
