Will Rafael Nadal be in TopSpin 2k25 Roster?

At this moment, Rafael Nadal is not listed as one of the playable characters in TopSpin 2k25. However, this is still an open possibility. It would be a shame if the TopSpin franchise would make a comeback without one of the best players in the history of tennis.

Most fans expect Rafael Nadal to appear in the game upon release, and 2K is withholding this information for now, but if “Rafa” is not there upon release, it could be expected that he will appear later as a DLC character or something of the sort. After all, currently, only 11 male and 14 female players have been announced, and more interesting names will drop soon, so I feel we’re in for a big surprise. Nick Kyrgios, the KyrGOAT, perhaps?

Will Novak Djokovic be in TopSpin 2k25 Roster?

As far as the GOAT is concerned, I am nearly 100% certain that Novak Djokovic will not appear in TopSpin 2k25. In various interviews in recent years, Novak reportedly mentioned that he does not like video games and that he feels they are not a productive way to spend his time.

Patrick Mouratoglou, a famous tennis coach, praised Novak for his authenticity because he stood firm on his belief that video games are bad for children. We all know that Novak holds to his principles, so we’ll have to wait and see what transpires. Back in the day, he did appear in Virtua Tennis 4 (2011), Top Spin 4 (2011), and Grand Slam Tennis 2 (2012). However, in one TopSpin2K‘s promotional video on YouTube, you can spot Novak, Ons Jabeur, Casper Ruud, and more celebrities.
