  • Spawn: -10,-9.

If you’re looking for a simple mushroom area to start your adventure, this is it. You’ll spawn in a Dark Forest that extends up a tall hill. Giant mushrooms are scattered throughout, making for a nice, cozy feeling. There’s plenty of wood and other resources to help you get started right away.

  • Spawn: 21, -55.

This Minecraft Mushroom seed has a stunning view right from spawn. You’ll start on a small Dark Forest island with plenty of trees, mushrooms, and water. There are multiple other islands around that you can explore, too, where I like to dive for resources. One of them even has a giant mountain with lava flowing into the ocean. A sight to see!

  • Spawn: 196, 564.
  • Island: -304, 135.
  • Water Temple: -155, 212.

You’ll have to travel quite the distance to reach this giant mushroom island. However, it’s worth the trip. It’s one of the biggest mushroom biomes I’ve ever seen, and there’s plenty of cool stuff surrounding the island, like a Water Temple right off the shore and some Shipwrecks not too far out either.

  • Spawn: -888, -335.
  • Mushroom Island: -484, -235.

This is by far the most unique mushroom island. If you can make the long trip, you’ll be greeted with multiple small mushroom islands right on the edge of an Ice Spike biome. The contrast between the mushrooms and ice spikes is a cool sight that you don’t see often. In fact, this is the first time I’ve seen it myself (and I promptly started building a base here to stake claim).

  • Spawn: -353, 60.
  • Mushroom Island: -46, 7.

This is yet another giant mushroom island that is quite far from your spawn point. However, this one has some hills and a few caves on it that make it worth exploring. While it’s not one of the best MC seeds if you’re after iron, there are some deposits that you’ll want to take advantage of.

  • Spawn: -2, -1.
  • Island: 713, 31.

I’m willing to bet you’ve never thought, “Man, I prefer mining on an island with giant mushrooms!” I mean, nobody has, right? Well, you just might want to here. Unlike the mushroom seed above, this one is great for delvers after precious metals and resources. There are multiple exposed caves ripe for exploration here.

  • Spawn: 466, -196.
  • Islands: -374, 81.

Similar to the last Minecraft mushroom biome seed, this island has plenty of caves to explore. However, I like this one a little more since it also has a small cove at the edge. I’ve turned this spot into a base in my survival game since it’s already hallowed out and the perfect size. But you could also use it as a foundation for something much grander.

Seed: 6875096463354234893

  • Spawn: 146, 307.
  • Mushroom: -259, -283.

This is the smallest mushroom island ever! Ok, it’s the smallest I’ve encountered. But I digress. Just a few blocks of dirt and a single giant mushroom, and strangely, there’s no other mushroom in sight. Is it worth traveling the long distance to see this lone mushroom in the middle of the ocean? Probably not — but it’s still cool.

Seed: 89276354

  • Spawn: 3,7.
  • Spruce Jungle: -86, -139.

In this Minecraft mushroom seed, you’ll spawn right in the middle of a giant Dark Forest biome filled with — what else? — mushrooms! If that’s not enough for you, there’s a giant Spruce Jungle right at the edge of the biome, as well as two rivers. There’s plenty to do here and explore.

Seed: 6025

  • Spawn: -5, 62.
  • Stone Pillar w/ Lava: -294, -82.

What’s better than one Dark Forest? Multiple tiny islands of Dark Forest biomes, of course! You’ll spawn on one of these islands, and if you get to some high ground, you’ll notice islands all over the place. Right in the middle of all of them is a giant stone peak and a lot of cool natural structures — and mushrooms!
