Fortnite Challenge Guide: Search Chests in Dusty Divot

Fortnite‘s Season 4, Week 5 brings a new batch of challenges for you to complete. And although some of them may not be working as of this writing, this one seems to be — and it involves searching seven chests at Dusty Divot (the area that replaced Dusty Depot).

If you’ve been playing at all, you’ll know that Dusty Divot doesn’t have too many chests lying around. But if you want to find all seven of them as quickly as possible, then follow our quick guide below.

Finding the Chests

You will find the first several chests inside the old Dusty Depot warehouses. Almost nobody drops there anymore, so you should find several chests untouched. Sometimes you can find another one inside the crate located under the cliff side. However, that’s not always guaranteed.

You can also check out the edge of the cliff on the eastern side of the map.

However, the surest way to find chests in Dusty Divot is by looking in buildings in the middle of the crater.

The white building in the north contains one chest, and another two chests can be found inside a black building in the west. But be sure to check all of them — sometimes chests can spawn in the most unexpected places.

For example, there are watchtowers around the facility that can also spawn chests, so if you haven’t gotten all seven chests yet, then be sure to check the towers as well.

And lastly, some of the trucks outside the compound can also spawn chests, so that should be your saving grace in case you can’t find enough inside Dusty Divot itself.
