BitLife: How to Complete the Turn Back Time Challenge Tasks

If you want to complete the Turn Back Time challenge in BitLife, you need to do the following tasks:

  • Be born a female in California.
  • Become a pop singer.
  • Have 2+ pop albums go platinum or higher.
  • Marry an ex-boyfriend.
  • Have a best friend who identifies as gay.

Be Born a Female in California

As usual, we’re starting a Custom Life for this challenge. Pick female for your gender and The United States as your country. Then, you need to pick Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Sacramento as your place to be born in California. While it’s not necessary, I highly recommend taking the Music Special Talent as well. This makes it easier to become a famous singer, and you’ll have it as part of the career pack required for this challenge.

Become a Pop Singer

When you Age Up, go into Activities > Mind & Body > Voice Lessons and ask your parents to take lessons. This helps improve your singing, and it saves you money that you’d have to spend if you took them as an adult. Otherwise, keep aging until you graduate high school. From here, you can go to university and study music, but it’s not required.

Once you’re 18, go to Jobs > Special Careers > Musician and audition as a solo artist for each label option. When one offers you a contract, make sure the genre is pop, otherwise, decline it. Repeat these steps each year until you get the pop contract you need.

Have 2+ Pop Albums go Platinum or Higher

This task relies on RNG. Once you get a pop contract, make an album every year. It’s unlikely that they’ll go Platinum right away. However, they can hit Platinum later in your life, which still counts. So, keep making albums and be patient. I had an album hit Platinum 20 years after its release, so it might take time.

Marry an Ex-Boyfriend

Maybe you already have an ex-boyfriend from the past. But if you don’t, go to Activities > Love > Date and find a boyfriend. Then, break up with them. After that, go to Relationships and find your ex-boyfriend. Work on improving your relationship with them by giving them gifts and spending time together. Once it’s higher, start dating again. Then, buy the most expensive ring you can and propose to them. If they accept the proposal, plan the wedding. If not, you have to keep trying and working to improve your relationship stats.

Have a Best Friend who Identifies as Gay

For this one, go into your Relationships and pick a friend. Then, select Ask Out to bring up a screen that displays their sexuality. If it says gay, then ask to be best friends with that person. If you don’t have any friends for this task, you can also try getting a different job and looking through your list of coworkers for a best friend candidate.

That covers how to complete the Turn Back Time Challenge in BitLife. Of all the tasks, getting platinum albums is the trickiest because you have so little control over it. But from here, check out our BitLife guide hub for more content!
