I was able to find Brightcore ore inside Lava Caves, which are located in the Dry Valley biome. Note that you need to use heat-resistant charms or materials before venturing inside this cave, as the temperature inside will burn you. Here are a few things that can help you survive the Lava Caves:

- Cool-Headed Charm.
Once you enter the cave, you can use any rare pickaxe to mine Brightcore, which usually spawns closer to the flows of lava. This ore has a peculiar bright orange glow, so it’s easy to identify.
How to Use Brightcore

- 1 Copper Ore
- 2 Brightcore

- 15 Brightcore
- 35 Obsidian Slabs
- 3 Blast Cores
Combine all these ingredients inside a Crafting Bench, and you’ll be able to craft and smelt any type of material in the game.
