How to Make Cake for Your Breeding Farm in Palworld

Although Cake has a decay timer when it’s in your inventory like other foods, the timer stops when it’s placed on Breeding Farms. It takes a lot of time to make, so you’ll want to get it cooking sooner rather than later.

How to Unlock the Cake Recipe

The recipe for Cake needs to be unlocked, but you won’t find the recipe itself in your Technology tab. Instead, you need to unlock the Cooking Pot in the Level 17 row and build it using:

• 2 Flame Organs
• 8 Ingots
• 7 Wood

Then, you gain access to the Cake recipe when you interact with the Cooking Pot. I always purchase any Technology related to cooking first since you never know how useful it ends up being. The ingredients aren’t too demanding, and they can be farmed in your base easily enough. So, after you have the Cooking Pot, bake a Cake using:

• 8 Eggs
• 5 Flour
• 2 Honey
• 7 Milk
• 8 Red Berries

From here, finish making the Cake, then put it in chest at the Breeding Farm if you have one in order to get the Pals stationed there to create an egg. Pals won’t breed without any Cake. So, if you have the farm ready and haven’t gotten an egg yet, that could be the problem. The Cake won’t spoil while on the farm, so you can stock it without worrying.
