How to Reduce Incubation Time and Make Pal Eggs Hatch Faster in Palworld
It can take a long time for Pal Eggs to hatch, particularly on dedicated servers. I think they take a little too long to hatch, but there are two ways to speed up hatching time for Pal Eggs. One is through actual gameplay, and the other is in your Palworld world settings.
How to Hatch Eggs Faster via Temperature
Regular Pal Eggs can take a while to hatch, but Large and Massive Pal Eggs can take far longer. Each Pal Egg type has a different ideal temperature range, so where you place your Egg Incubator matters. Palworld has both hot and cold biomes. But there are items you can build to make an Incubator more comfortable for the egg.
Incubators receive bonuses for being near these objects; the value shows when approaching the incubator. If it says the Pal Egg is too cold or too hot, build a Campfire or Cooler next to it to increase the bonus. Maintain a comfortable temperature for the egg to receive the 100% incubation speed increases and hatch eggs faster.
How to Hatch Eggs Faster via Altering Palworld’s Settings
You can also change your world settings to make Pal Eggs hatch faster. Before entering your world, take a look at your world settings. Select the world you want, then select the “Change World Settings” button at the bottom of the screen. From the world settings menu, choose “Custom Settings” to start tinkering with its settings.
In the custom settings menu, look for the setting “Time (h) to incubate Massive Egg. Note: Other eggs also require time to incubate,” which is closer to the bottom of the list than not. This variable can be scaled from 0 to 240. You can scale it down and leave the rest of your settings as-is, to avoid tinkering with how the rest of your world plays.
