Getting this suit involves finishing a few side missions where you’ll receive it as a gift at the end of the quest chain. Boricua is a colloquial term used to refer to the people of Puerto Rico. Miles is of Puerto Rican descent on his mother’s side so the Boricua suit allows you to showcase his cultural heritage with style.

It’s a darker suit adorned with the colorful Puerto Rican flag across the chest. Getting it isn’t that hard but it does involve finishing the Brooklyn Visions Academy side missions first. The process involves the following steps:

  • Main Mission: I triggered the quest chain by first beginning the “BV Club Fair” mission at the Brooklyn Visions Club fair. You can talk to Ganke and Hailey and later eavesdrop on a conversation between the Principal and a school officer. This allows you to learn that Ms. Ferguson, one of the teachers, is missing. Following the mission guidelines will lead you to a criminal hideout where you can defeat them and rescue Ms. Ferguson thus completing the mission.
  • Side Missions: From here, you can unlock three side missions including “Senior Prank”, “Homecoming”, and “Lights, Camera, Action”. Complete them to continue.
  • Reward Mission: Completing the previous four missions will allow you to start “The Gift”. This one involves Miles following mission markers only to arrive at a rooftop to find something wholesome waiting for him. As thanks, the students you helped have prepared various gifts for you including the Boricua Suit.

Besides the new special suit which you can change to at any point, you’ll also receive lots of Tech Parts, City Tokens, and XP during this mission chain. Let’s see how we can use these Tech Parts and City Tokens to further customize the suit.

How to Customize the Boricua Suit

While the Boricua suit is a free gift, you can still customize it with different color styles. If you invest two City Tokens and 25 Tech Parts, you can unlock the dark blue, dark red, and gray/white variations. Of course, each one has that Puerto Rican flag displayed on your chest.

Whichever style you prefer, you now know how to get the Boricua Suit in Spider-Man 2. We hope this guide was helpful and if you want more tips and walkthroughs on the game, check out our Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game hub.
