Pocket Mortys crafting recipe guide

We walk you step-by-step through crafting all 30 item recipes!

While finding feral Mortys to subdue and control is a major part of the Pocket Mortys experience, the game also features a crafting system that lets you learn new recipes through trial and error by mixing together various items.

A handy crafting station is located directly outside the Council Of Ricks building, and they are also sometimes found randomly in alternate dimensions when seeking out new boss Ricks. Some of the objects you can craft at each station are absolutely essential to continuing the game – like new Manipulator Chips – while others will heal your Mortys or allow you to complete side quests.

Here we cover a complete listing of how to craft all 30 current Pocket Mortys recipes if you don't want to discover them on your own by trying out different combinations. Need more general tips for getting through the game instead? Then check out our Pocket Mortys strategies on exploring alternate dimensions and keeping your mortys alive, and also be sure to read our review of the mobile game here.

Important Base Recipes

The very first thing you will want to craft as soon as possible is a new Morty Manipulator Chip so you can collect new wild Mortys. You won't get far in the game only using the two base Mortys you get at the start when chasing down Mysterious Rick.

Pocket Mortys Recipe 1

Morty Manipualor Chip

Combine the Supercharged Battery, Circuit Board, and Tin Can

You can buy these a short ways into the game after acquiring your fourth badge, but $500 schmeckles is a hefty chunk of change, so craft your own when possible instead. The biggest obstacle to crafting a Manipulator Chip is the supercharged battery, which is rare to find.

You can make your own though through another series of recipes listed below. If you feel like spending some real world money, you can also win Manipulator Chips by using tickets at the Blitz And Chitz machine.

Pocket Mortys Recipe 12

Supercharged Battery

Combine the Battery (see Recipe 11) and Turbulent Juice Tube

Healing / Utility Items

Taking a beating from the higher level Mortys deployed by your alternate Rick trainers? Some healing and utility items will keep you in the fight longer. These are some of the most useful recipes to have on hand, as crafting new serum with items you find for free is usually a better option than spending all your precious schmeckles.

Pocket Mortys Recipe 10

Level Up Mega Seed (Instantly increases any Morty's level)

Combine an Attack Mega Seed, a Defense Mega Seed, and a Speed Mega Seed

While you can use the Level Up Mega Seed on your best Morty to make him stronger, you may want to save them instead for a different approach. The Egg Morty is pretty useless... but he hatches into the unstoppable One True Morty at level 20, and leveling him normally in combat is a serious chore.

Crafting / Quest Items

Besides healing and utility items, there are a variety of recipes that are either used to craft more potent items, or instead create objects that are useless in combat but will let you complete side quests. You can find our full list of side quests and what items they require right here.

I think 19 - 30 are all for side quests given by the Ricks wandering around the Citadel - if you talk to them after getting each new badge some of them will ask you to get things for them. I don't recall off the top of my head which quest is for the Butter Bot.
