A source from Dual Pixels, named Geno, has spilled some details regarding the Nintendo NX, and Nintendo’s “visual launch title” — which is rumored to be Luigi’s Mansion 3.
In describing what exactly a “visual launch title” entails, Geno explains:
“The game uses a lot of advance lighting techniques to create this “living 3d cartoon movie” look with insanely detailed shadows and transparencies.”
He goes further in adding some details about the rumored title, saying that:
“It also shows off the haptic analog sticks, which will resist when trying to capture ghosts. An AR multiplayer mode is also planned to be in the final version of the game.”

Other related rumors suggest that an HD remaster of the original Luigi’s Mansion game could be in the works, potentially in addition to the third installment of the series. Other rumors surrounding the Nintendo NX include possible ports for Star Wars: Battlefront and Battlefield, as well as Unreal Engine 4 support for the console.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the Nintendo NX will be the newest installment in the Luigi’s Mansion series, following 2013’s release of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo NX is projected to be released anywhere between holiday 2016 and spring 2017, and is expected to be officially announced this summer at E3.
