Best Weapons to Buy in GTA Online

Heavy Rifle

  • Price: $450,000 (Ammu-Nation).

Although Heavy Rifle may have a slower rate of fire than some other assault rifles in GTA Online, it uses a much larger caliber (7.62 mm), which makes it a real working horse of a weapon.

It is a highly balanced rifle that you’ll be using throughout your entire walkthrough, and it won’t let you down regardless of the scope of your missions.

Heavy Revolver Mk II

  • Price: $99,000 (Weapon Workshop).

While assault rifle is needed for mid-range combat, there is nothing better than an improved Magnum .44 when you get real close to your target. It has some of the highest damage among all pistols in the game.

Carbine Rifle Mk II

  • Price: $107,500 (Weapon Workshop).

Heist jobs and chases require a tool that can get you through an armored vehicle fast and easy. Carbine Rifle Mk II in combination with full metal jacket rounds can easily penetrate armored vehicles with bulletproof or bullet resistant glass.

Combat MG Mk II

  • Price: $119,000 (Weapon Workshop).

Some missions will put you in close quarters with heavily armored enemies that need a special weapon to deal with. Combat MG Mk II loaded with armor piercing rounds will cut through any body armor as easy as a hot knife through butter.

Heavy Sniper Mk II

  • Price: $165,375 (Weapon Workshop).

Last but not least, you’ll need a solid sniper rifle to remove distant targets. You won’t need it every time, but there is no better choice on the GTA Online weapons market for when you do.

Pegassi Oppressor Mk II

  • Price: $3,890,250 (Warstock Cache & Carry).

As soon as Oppressor Mk II hoverbike appeared in GTA Online as a part of the After Hours update, it immediately became the favorite of many players due to simple spawn system and probably the most convenient way of traveling across the map.

The only thing that players need to make sure is to land safely without crashing, as well as be able to pay the enormous price for it.

Sparrow

  • Price: $1,815,000 (Warstock Cache & Carry).

If you don’t have enough to purchase Oppressor Mk II, then the next best choice would be the Sparrow helicopter, which is just a little slower than the Oppressor.

It can also carry some missiles, as well as a minigun to be able to defend yourself when traveling. It is also one of the most agile aerial vehicles in the game.

Karin Kuruma (Armored)

  • Price: $698,250 (Southern San Andreas Super Autos).

If you’re specifically looking to purchase a car, then look no further than the Kuruma. This is currently the best car for heists in the game.

The armored variant is a must if you want to both escape and survive any chase, and it’s not that expensive.

Cayo Perico Island

  • Price: $2,200,000 (Kosatka)

The Cayo Perico is still the most lucrative heist in the game, but players need to have the status of CEO or MC to be able to start the heist, as well as purchase the Kosatka submarine, which isn’t cheap.

Once you speak to Miguel Madrazo at The Music Locker, you’ll be able to perform all the steps of the Cayo Perico heist, which may net you around $1,000,000 per job.

Auto Shops

  • Price: $1,670,000 – $1,920,000

If you can’t take on the Cayo Perico job yet for one reason or the other, then you can simply purchase Auto Shops that currently offer the best opportunity for making money in solo mode.

There are five Auto Shops available in the game that each offer a number of missions, including:

  • Mission Row.
  • Strawberry.
  • Rancho.
  • Burton.
  • La Mesa.
