Hide-and-Seek is a quest in Honkai Star Rail that’s throwing many players for a loop. A Trailblaze Mission, you need to complete it to move the story forward, but finding the hiding children isn’t as easy as it looks. Indeed, one is in plain sight but easy to miss. Here’s how to complete Hide-and-Seek in Honkai: Star Rail.Â

How to Complete the Hide-and-Seek Quest in Honkai Star Rail
The Hide-and-Seek mission begins when you wake up in Boulder Town after fighting Bronya. You’ll go outside and see March 7th talking to three children, who have challenged her to a game in exchange for finding Sampo.
Before the game begins, there’s a test round where you’ll need to find Hook, who’s hiding in a relatively easy-to-find spot. Once you find Hook for the test run, the real game begins. All three children scatter as March counts to 50.
- From the starting point, head toward the road near two dumpsters. You’ll be able to see Moles’ Sidekick hidden behind a stack of crates.
- From there, go back the way you came, then head to the left toward the mine cart. Hook is hiding between the cart and a stack of crates.

While Hook and Moles’ Sidekick might be relatively easy to find, the third child has taken some creative liberties.
- After finding the two girls, head back toward the starting area. This will prompt March to point out a suspicious man that’s been watching you run around seeking the Moles. Upon closer investigation, you’ll be prompted that something about him is suspicious.
- Pick any dialogue option that investigates the man more to discover that he’s actually the little boy who’s hidden in plain sight.
With all three members of the Moles found, you’ve completed the Hide-and-Seek quest in Honkai Star Rail. Hook will now take you to Sampo and Dan Heng.
