Almond Tofu might not sound all that tasty (and a certain NPC next to Chenxiang isn’t fond of it either) but Xiao clearly has a taste for it. Every Genshin Impact player has to get their hands on it for particular quests requiring the squishy semi-sweet delight.
You can choose to either make your own Almond Tofu to complete the daily quest “Good Medicine Tastes Bitter” or the other quest that requires it. Alternatively, you can simply buy it and be done with the stuff. We’ll go over both options in this guide.
Genshin Impact: Almond Tofu Recipe Location
You can pick up the recipe for Almond Tofu in the Liyue region, at the Wangshu Inn found in the Dihua Marsh. Its location is circled below.
The recipe is on a table back in the Wangshu Inn’s kitchen, and it is easy enough to find.
Making the Almond Tofu isn’t too hard, either. All the recipe calls for is:
- 3 Milk
- 1 Sugar
- 1 Almond
If you are making the dish yourself specifically for one of the aforementioned quests and happen to have Xiao, be sure to have someone else cook the Almond Tofu. Xiao may create a different dish instead, as it is his specialty.
Genshin Impact: Where to Buy Almond Tofu
If you don’t feel like making this strange dessert, you can instead just buy it from the very place you picked up the recipe.
Almond Tofu can also be purchased in the Wangshu Inn for 1,550 Mora, from the establishment’s boss.
You can only buy two Almond Tofu per day, so it might be a good idea to pick a couple up on the odd occasion you visit Wangshu Inn, just so you don’t have to make the dish yourself when you get the daily quest.
