Want to know if you'll be able to make your dream team in Opera Omnia? Look no further!

Dissidia Opera Omnia launched with a reasonable handful of characters spanning most Final Fantasy games. If you’re like most fans, you can almost make your ideal party. Almost.

You may be interested to know which characters are currently in the global version of the game game as it stands, but the real question here is going to be which characters are coming out later. Twenty-five characters from the story is fine, but Final Fantasy is way too big of a series to be happy with just 25.

First we’re going to go into which characters are currently in the global version of the game, along with which chapter of the story you unlock them in. Then we’re going to list out the characters that will be coming out later in events, of which there are several more than Opera Omnia gives you in the story.

Story characters

These are all characters that can be unlocked via the story. Some are via the main story quests, others are by side quest areas. Just make sure to do every quest you can in each chapter to get them all.

Upcoming story & event characters

I mentioned there were several more characters coming than what’s currently available, right? You probably can’t make your dream team without a number of the upcoming characters we’re about to get to.

These characters can be unlocked by either progressing in the story (past what we have available on global now) or via their character-specific events. These things will come to the global version in time, but for now it’s good to know these characters are coming eventually.
