All-Stars hit the front lines as the meanest and toughest Zombies in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. They use a gatling gun to mow down the opposition.

All-Stars have the most health of all the Zombies, but a slower speed to balance it. Their guns don’t have ammo, but they have an overheat function. All-Stars are the shields of the team. They deploy tackling dummies to block fire, and soak up a great deal of damage themselves.

Basic Combat Tips – Tackle all the things!
Tackle. Seriously. This ability is amazing. You knock plants in the air, do a lot of damage, and go far distances. Just don’t run into a chili bean bomb or potato mine. Their abilities are Imp Punt, Sprint Tackle, and Dummy Shield.
- Imp Punt – This ability punts an exploding imp zombie towards the enemy.
- Sprint Tackle – The All-Star dashes forward, knocking anyone in its path into the sky, doing high damage.
- Dummy Shield – This ability places a tackling dummy shield in front of you. It blocks attacks.
These abilities make the All-Star a tough Zombie to take down in a one on one fight.
- Imp Punt is great for doing high damage without risking getting hurt.
- Send one into a garden and it will blow up mines and other traps.
- It also does great group damage, especially combined with the sprint tackle. Do this on a big group of enemies, and your team will have a much easier time.
- Sprint Tackle is the bread and butter of this class. Plants that get hit by this take a lot of damage and get stunned a little while being knocked in the air.
- This is great for Chompers before they burrow.
- Use on any rooted plant to stop their ability.
- It can help close gaps as well, and reach a garden quicker.
- Dummy Shields block a lot of attacks.
- It is good to place at strategic points when capturing a garden. This can protect against chili bean bombs getting in the middle.
- Chompers can still burrow underneath it, so watch out.
- It does not protect against the Garlic Drone’s Corn Strike either, so be careful where you place them.
Class Matchups – Bully the Plants
Peashooter
- Peashooters are still a pain because of their chili bean bombs. They can kill even All-Stars if you’ve been injured.
- Keep your distance and focus fire on them. You can outlast them if you’re careful.
Chomper
- Chompers are pain to every Zombie and All-Stars are no exception.
- Don’t worry about shields against them, just fire away.
- Tackle them before they get the chance to burrow.
Sunflower
- Sunflowers are a headache when they start healing. Their sunbeam attack is also very powerful.
- Tackle them to stop their healing and rooted sunbeam, then just finish them with your primary attack.
Cactus
- The increased range of a Cactus make it a formidable foe.
- Fire from a distance, if they don’t see you, while moving up.
- When getting attacked, close the gap with sprint tackle. Just keep in mind that they will plant potato mines, so don’t charge in without looking.
- Use imp punts when close enough to make their potato mines useless.
