Any good crafting game has ways for you to get more resources. Last Day on Earth: Survival Patch 1.8.2 introduces the Recycler — a tool that lets you disassemble items you have no use for to get much-needed resources to build other items. Disassembling these items will get you components that you can use to build other items. This is the perfect item for clearing inventory space and turning useless crap into useful crap.
How to Unlock and Build the Recycler in LDOE
First of all, you will need 2 craft points to even unlock the recipe. You will also need to make sure you have some empty space in your house on the floor for the Recycler. Then, of course, the last thing you will need are the materials:
- 3 Oak Planks
- 8 Iron Plates
- 5 Aluminum Bars
- 1 Light Bulb
- 20 Bolts
- 10 Rubber Parts
Like any good survival game, you have skills to level up with the Recycler in Last Day on Earth: Survival. You earn experience in a specific recycling group each time you disassemble something from that group of items. The groups are:
- Clothes
- Melee Weapons
- Mechanics
- Electronics
- Firearms
- Other
There are a ton of items you can disassemble. Some of them will only yield one specific item, but others offer three different potential items to output. The yield you get depends on your level in that group’s skill.
You gain a percentage point for the first item every three levels, a percentage point for the second item every five levels, and a percentage point for the third item every 10 levels.
