Peach’s Crown Location in Super Mario RPG
You can find Peach’s Crown in Super Mario RPG by knocking it off the head of Booster once you reach the chapel in Marrymore. This task is actually part of an arc that culminates in a chapel wedding… or so it seems.
How to Reach Marrymore Chapel
This whole endeavor follows your trek through Booster Tower, which has its own puzzle involving Booster Portraits. From there, you need to chase after the sneaky bandit as he travels uphill to Marrymore.
Upon arriving at the village, you’ll realize that you won’t be able to enter via the main door. Instead, you have to check the corner along the right-hand side. Inside the church, a Snifit asks for your help with opening another door. You and the Snifit need to run to the door and reach it at the same time. You’ll also need to do the same task in the next chamber, where it’s Bowser who needs your aid.
How to Get Peach’s Items
Inside the chapel, you’ll be able to search for Peach’s Crown in Super Mario RPG. Here’s a quick summary:
- The three Snifits running around the pews have her shoes, ring, and brooch. Talk to them to force them to give up the items (you don’t need to fight them at all).
- Peach’s Crown is on Booster’s head. You have to get close enough to Booster, then jump above him to knock it out of his head.
While you’re doing the above, you’ll notice that the candelabras are being lit one by one. I think you’ll see a notification telling you that something special might happen if you’re quick enough. As far as I can tell, swiftly gathering all of Peach’s items leads to a cutscene where she kisses Mario.
However, even though I completed this task really fast, the cutscene I got was a bait-and-switch: Peach was about to kiss Mario, but Booster moved in. As such, Booster ended up kissing Mario instead.
