EXP Boosters

If you want to level up fast in Rise of the Ronin, you’ll need gear with an EXP boost effect. You’ll collect a lot of armor from playing the game regularly, defeating enemies, completing missions, and finding treasure chests. If you go through all of your extra gear, you’ll be sure to find some with an EXP boost effect.

Completing Missions

One of the easiest ways to level up is to complete missions. Whether it’s a main story mission or a bond mission, you’ll be rewarded with quite a bit of EXP. There are multiple side quests that you can do between main missions, which ensures you’ll have plenty of experience.

Restore Public Order

If you check your map, you’ll notice that bandits control many areas. You’ll have to take out all of the enemies in the area, which will net you a good amount of EXP. Additionally, once Public Order is restored, you’ll increase your Bond Level in the region, which has perks.

Defeating Fugitives

However, the best way to level up fast, especially if you’re stuck on a mission, is to defeat Fugitives. These enemies are stronger than usual, so they’ll net you a lot more EXP. They’ll be marked on your map so you can find them easily. As a bonus, they’ll reward you with extra gear and new Combat Styles that can help you against stronger opponents.
