The economy in the US and UK keep fluctuating, but I know that the dollar is often close in equivalent to the English pound, so I won’t bother converting the money here–it’s generally similar, give or take.
Here’s the first thing you can do to improve your gaming experience, not just your console’s decor.
Controller skins.
Why are they effective? For the price of about £3.00 including postage, these little silicon babies really do enhance your grip and jazz up your controller. Yeah, silicon!
All the same, I find my grip really improves with these and I have had them in the past, but like all cheap things, they are prone to wear and tear and I went through two in about four years. Not bad for cheap, no? I don’t know if they were from the same manufacturer, but they were pretty much the same thing, only zebra colored. They come in all sorts of colors–they protect your controllers, look great and enhance grip!

Vinyl Xbox Stickers
I don’t think many people out there have much of an idea of just how cheap it is to make your Xbox look great.
£7. Not including postage and packing, if any. Around that sort of cost you can just make your XBox jaw-dropping with the level of customization here at so cheap a price. Literally you can make your box something to celebrate Call of Duty, Halo, Animals, Cool colors, or just great patterns. Here are a few.
There are ten pages of these, and the prices vary from £5-£10. You can seriously give your console a new look for cheap with these stickers. But then I saw this on Ebay, and I know if any fan girls are in here… well, everyone else cover their ears, the screaming shall begin.
Yeah, what has been seen cannot be unseen. But still. THAT IS HOW VARIED THIS MARKET IS. IT’S MASSIVE AND SO WIDESPREAD.
