Enabling Rocket League’s Split Screen Co-Op: It is Simpler Than You Think
First, you must note that the procedure to play in split screen mode varies if both players are using controllers, or if one one player is using a keyboard while the other is using a controller.
First, we will first go through a scenario where each player is using a controller. This configuration consists of two easy steps:
- Start the game with all controllers connected;
- on the title screen, the main player must press a button to continue to the main menu. As soon as the main player arrives on the menu screen, all other players must press “START” on their controllers. This enables split screen co-op.
Now, if one player is using a keyboard and the other player is using a controller, the procedure is a bit different, but still very simple:
- On the title screen, plug and unplug the second controller until the light on the controller shifts to “Player 2;”
- In the menu, the second player must press “START,” in order to enable the split-screen mode.
