Konosuba: Fantastic Days Error 80001 Fix

No need to let error 80001 force you to use Explosion before you even get into Konosuba: Fantastic Days.

Konosuba: Fantastic Days is seeing a bustling launch day, so bustling that a lot of players are running into a time out error when trying to login. Timed out error 80001 is the big one plaguing people trying to get into the game, but it’s not a hard wall keeping you out.

Chances are, you probably aren’t getting error 80001 if you’re playing Konosuba: Fantastic Days via Bluestacks or Nox. I’ve yet to talk to someone who has run into the error while playing through an emulator on their PC, though the same can’t be said for those I know playing on an intended mobile device.

If you’re feeling impatient and these solutions don’t work for you, try emulating for now and connect your account once you’re done rerolling, then transfer to your primary device once you can.

How to Get Around Error 80001 in Konosuba: Fantastic Days

Error 80001 is a timeout error, which puts the burden of fault on Nexon’s servers instead of your internet connection. You can certainly do some things to try to get in, though.

Error 80001 Fix Solution #1: Relaunch the Game Using Mobile Data

This is the most obvious solution and, of course, one you’ve probably tried more than once.

If you’re trying to launch the game using a Wi-Fi connection, try to do so via your mobile data instead. Some people have had greater success connecting using their mobile connection rather than Wi-Fi, so give it a shot. Don’t be afraid to try more than once, either.

Error 80001 Fix Solution #2: Reinstall the Game

This one is unlikely, but some people have claimed it works, and it’s worth a shot if you’re getting frustrated. Just reinstall the game and try to launch it again to see if it works.

Since there’s a hefty download to install most of the game data after installation, be aware of the connection you’re on when going through the installation process. Like the first potential solution, some people claim they were able to get in after reinstalling using their mobile data over Wi-Fi, but this is a claim you should probably take with a grain of salt.

The fact is, error 80001 in Konosuba: Fantastic Days is simply a server error and not something you have all that much control over. Try and try again and you should eventually get in, but just wait a few days if you don’t. There’s no rush. Once you do get in though, you’re definitely going to want to reroll, so check out our little Konosuba: FD reroll guide here.
