Metroid Dread ending rewards follow the series’ tradition of granting you a little something special depending on how well you performed during the game. This time, the ending rewards have nothing to do with your item collection percentage.

What are Metroid Dread’s Ending Rewards?

Metroid Dread's Zero Mission art is one of the ending rewards.

Rewards unlock in a special gallery available only once you complete the game. They’re essentially Metroid‘s version of trophies and don’t grant any additional powers, though you certainly have to work to earn them. Here are all of the ending rewards and their requirements:

Metroid Zero Mission art

  • Unlocks: When you clear the game on normal mode 

Metroid: Samus Returns art

  • Unlocks: When you clear the game on normal mode in less than eight hours

Super Metroid art

  • Unlocks: When you clear the game on normal mode in under four hours

Metroid Other M art

  • Unlocks: When you clear the game on hard mode

Metroid Fusion art

  • Unlocks: When you clear the game on hard mode in under eight hours

Metroid Dread art

  • Unlocks: When you clear the game on hard mode in under four hours

Zero Suit Samus art

  • Unlocks: When you’ve earned all other artwork

And that’s it for Metroid Dread ending rewards. There’s no secret ending in this adventure, no alternate path to take, or anything else extra. Instead, the point is to use your knowledge of ZDR’s paths and shortcuts to continue mastering the game and shave hours off your completion time.
