The quest itself has you purchase an odd crystal that seems unimportant to most folks but is actually important for us! Jochi-Ihiga Shrine Quest Location

For the Totk Jochi-Ihiga Rock for Sale quest, you’ll need to make your way to Tarrey Town, which is in the Akkala region. To get there, make sure you’ve unlocked the Ulri Mountains Skyview Tower. Use the launch pad and glide southwest. You’ll see the village by a lake.

Upon reaching Tarrey Town, talk to the NPC near the tracks. He’ll sell you a “green rock” for a hefty sum. Thankfully, another NPC chimes in, and the price will be lowered to 50 rupees. This will start the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Rock For Sale Shrine quest.

TotK Jochi-Ihiga Shrine Rock For Sale Walkthrough

The Rock for Sale Shrine quest is a Sky Crystal-type task. That means we’ll have to bring the green crystal to where the beam is pointing. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Talk to the vendor again, and he’ll explain the town’s monorail system.
  • A cart will arrive; attach the crystal to that. You may then ride it by hitting the vehicle once.
  • It will take you to the opposite bank, where you’ll be able to detach the crystal.

The beam itself leads to the pedestal in the opposite section of the lake. The idea in this part of the TotK Rock for Sale quest is to build a craft that will let you sail there.

I suggest using the Zonai Device Dispenser nearby. Place a few Zonai Charges or one Large Zonai Charge, and you’ll get a bunch of crafting items to build a means of transportation.

I’d recommend using a Sled or Cart, a Fan, and a Steering Stick. Then, attach the crystal to the front of the vessel. Since the craft will likely sink because of its weight, you can also attach a Rocket to it. Make sure that it’s pointing diagonally upward toward the direction of the altar.

The Rocket should boost you across the lake’s waters, and you’ll land close to the altar. Place the crystal there, and you’ll complete the Rock for Sale Shrine quest.

Completing the quest will cause the Jochi-Ihiga Shrine to materialize, which has a Rauru’s Blessing inside. You’ll quickly get a Diamond and a Light of Blessing for your efforts.

That’s how to complete the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Rock for Sale Shrine quest. This is but one particular activity that you can complete in this massive game. Plenty more awaits. For more tips and walkthroughs, visit our Zelda TotK guides hub.
