Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) — A Precise Strike Shrine Guide

How to complete the Precise Strike puzzle at the Kamatukis Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom A Precise Strike Kamatukis Shrine is all about harnessing a powerful impact and using the right angles. This is where we’ll once again create some pendulum contraptions. Here’s our guide to help you solve the Kamatukis Shrine A Precise Strike puzzle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Kamatukis Shrine Location

The Kamatukis Shrine is found in the northern portion of the Akkala region. If you’ve been exploring the area, you’ll notice a peculiar landmark shaped like a skull. That is Skull Lake, and its pillar also has one of the Fierce Deity armor pieces. As for the Shrine itself, you’ll want to head to the grassy outcrop just east of that. The coordinates are: 3431, 3355, 0071.

TotK Kamatukis Shrine A Precise Strike Solution

As noted earlier, the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Kamatukis Shrine A Precise Strike is where we’ll use pendulum-esque contraptions. The first section itself is relatively simple enough:

  • Attach the block below the bar, creating something that looks like a mallet.
  • Use Ultrahand and pull it all the way to the back (i.e., move Link backward with the left thumbstick, and tilt the right thumbstick up to raise the object).
  • Once you let go, it should hit the ball, causing it to roll toward the bullseye target.
  • If you encounter any issues, don’t worry. I did find the whole thing a bit iffy, so a bit of trial and error is also involved.

Once you’re done with the first part, the exit gate will open. Still, don’t just leave the TotK Kamatukis Shrine just yet. We can still do the puzzle in the second area, which yields a chest.

You’ll do the same steps as before. This time, though, the bullseye target itself is moving sideways. As such, it boils down to timing. Keep the pendulum/hammer fully raise, then only let go when the bullseye target is moving toward the center.

If you time it perfectly, the makeshift hammer will hit the ball just as the target is dead center. You’ll receive a Mighty Zonaite Longsword from the chest.

In any case, all that’s left is to interact with the altar to receive a Light of Blessing. This completes the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Kamatukis Shrine A Precise Strike puzzle. For more tips and walkthroughs, visit our Zelda: TotK guides hub.
